Maria Ionova-Gribina
Artist, photographer
Born and raised in an artistic family in Moscow. Graduated from Carl Fabergé College of Decorative Arts. Undertook further professional studies at the Moscow Academy of Photography and at the School of Contemporary Art “Free Workshops” at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA). In 2009 Maria participated in the Objective Reality Foundation’s educational program taught by Bjarke Myrthu and Lucian Perkins. Official photographer of the Grinberg agency (2011-2013). Participant of numerous contemporary art and photography exhibitions. Maria’s works are part of Moscow Multimedia Art Museum’s collection and in a number of private collections in Russia and abroad. Member of the Union of Photo Artists of Russia. Author of educational programs. At present Maria works on a number of project of her own as well as in collaboration with Salt Images agency and www.takiedela.ru charity foundation. Lecturer at the School of Visual Arts and the School of Contemporary Art “Free Workshops”.
